2009 Daytime Lunch & Wedding Information

 

Garden Site Fee: The garden/chapel site fee is $900.00 for 2 hours.  This 2 hour time period is allotted for decorative set-up, photography, ceremony and clean-up in the garden and chapel. Additional garden time is $200.00 per ½ hour.   Overtime charges of $200.00 per ½ hour will apply if additional time is utilized other than the contracted time. For morning ceremonies with lunch to follow the garden time is typically from 10:00am-12:00pm with an 11:00am ceremony.  Lunch follows until 3:00pm. 

Lunch Reception Site Fee: The restaurant site fee is $500.00 for 50-175 people for Mondays-Saturdays only from 10:00am- 3:00pm (the restaurant is closed to the public during these hours).  This includes table set-up (set-up does not include decorating, placement of wedding favors, etc.), wait staff, plates, silverware, and clean up.  Set-up time for a reception may start 1 hour prior without a ceremony.    

Food and Beverage Minimum for Lunch Receptions: The food and beverage minimum is $3,000.00 in addition to the $500.00 restaurant site fee.  The food and beverage minimum includes pupus, lunch, cake cutting fees, bartender fee, and hosted bar.  *The food and beverage minimum is also allocated on holidays and special days of the year. 

Bartender Fee:  The bartender/bar set-up fee is $150.00. This fee is applicable to lunch receptions only.

Cake Cutting Fee:  The cake cutting fee is $1.00 per person. 

Taxes/Service Charge: A service charge of 18% and applicable sales tax of 4.5% will be added to all food, beverage, bartender/server, corkage fees, and cake cutting fees.

Clean-up:  Haiku Gardens is not responsible for the removal and discarding of any decorations brought in from guests or outside vendors.  $150.00 clean-up fee will be due at the completion of the ceremony and/or reception if excessive trash is left behind.   

Bridal Waiting Suite:  The bridal waiting suite is for bridal preparations prior to the ceremony.  It cannot be used for storage due to security purposes.  Please have all items removed from the bridal suite and wedding coordinator’s office after the ceremony.  This includes any gifts, clothing, flowers, etc.

Arrival Time for Ceremonies: The earliest time the bridal party and guests can arrive to the gardens and/or restaurant is 9:30am for a morning ceremony and reception and 2:00pm for an afternoon ceremony. 

Deposits:
*First deposit of $500.00 for the garden site is due to confirm your event.
*First deposit of $500.00 for the restaurant site is due to confirm your event. 
*Second deposit of one-half of the wedding package and/or ala carte item is needed upon agreement.  Haiku Gardens will not make any arrangements until payment is made.
*Second, if Reception only, Third deposit if Wedding & Reception:  the estimated number of people times ½ the menu price (or a minimum of $10.00) is due 90 days prior to your reception.  
*Final payment, based on the remainder deposit amount indicated on the customer summary contract, as well as final guest count for the wedding and/or reception is due 30 days prior to your event.  Your guaranteed guest count can be increased, but may not be reduced after this confirmation date.
*All options and decisions cannot be changed within 2 weeks of your event.  This includes items such as menus, bar hosting, vendors, etc.
*Annual pricing of garden rental, menu selections, and outside vendor ala carte items are subject to change.
